> ℹ️ The **BOM Acceptance Checker** option for checking extract status is not available for WaterML datasets.

When a WDTF data file has been uploaded, the BOM processes the file and records its status in a log. When file processing is successfully completed, the status is set to *Accepted*. Transfer status can be viewed in the Extracts table **Status** column.

Transfer statuses are updated from the BOM log files by the BOM Acceptance Checker tool which runs every 12 hours or can be run at any time from the Extracts module.

**To update the transfer log status:**

Click **Run BOM Acceptance Checker**. The application connects to the BOM site and updates any extract statuses available in the logs.
