In some cases you will need to send regular extracts to the BOM to meet statutory reporting requirements. To do this, use the scheduling tool in the WDTF Datasets module to specify the properties of the transfer. Each extract will include any data that has been added or modified since the last *Accepted* extract.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ An *Accepted* extract is one that has been successfully transferred to the BOM, or that has been manually marked as *Accepted*. See the <u>[Extracts Module](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/WDNC/pages/2053800134)</u> for more details.

# Schedule the Dataset Extracts

**Step 1**

In the WDTF Datasets module select the dataset from which you want to extract data.

**Step 2**

Click **Schedule Periodic Data Extract** and complete the extract details.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ You do not have to increment the date parameters for each run. The appropriate parameters are determined automatically for WDTF datasets.

| **Property** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| Period | Sets the recurrence period for the extract.<br>This value is set when you create the dataset. You cannot modify it here, but you can change it on the Details tab for the dataset. |
| Include Transfer | Automatically transfers the extract to the BOM |
| Force Metadata | Select this checkbox to include related metadata in the generated extract. By default, metadata is not included unless it has changed since the extract. |
| Publish Status | Optionally send or print a notification of the extract status. Choose from the following options:<br>- Email - send an email notification whatever the status of the extract
- Email on error - send an email only if there is an error in the extract process
- Print - print the status notification |
| Party and Email/Printer | If you are emailing or printing a status notification, specify the email recipient or the printer to use. |

**Step 3**

Click **Schedule** to review the schedule settings.

**Step 4**

Click **Save** to save accept the default settings.
