By default, Operators (SP OPERATOR)  and owners (OWNER) can modify their own contact details on the [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CC/pages/2071986177](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CC/pages/2071986177) page in [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CC](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CC) or in Web Water Ordering.

You can remove this option in the [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/UMNC/pages/1979449436](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/UMNC/pages/1979449436). To do this:

**Step 1**

In the Security Manager module choose the **By Group** tab and select the *OICD:SCOPES > party-management > Manage Own Customer Details* scope.

**Step 2**

On the **Authority** tab, select the role for which access to the scope should be disabled. For example, to disable the scope for Operators, select the SP OPERATOR entry and click the **Delete** button.

> ℹ️ To remove access for Owners, delete the OWNER entry.

**Step 3**

Restart the system.

Now when an user with the modified role attempts to edit their contact details they will be notified that they don’t have the authority to do so.
