# Select By System

Choose this option to view a list of systems, then click on a system to view the included sites.

## What is a System?

A system is any group (for example, a Planning Group or a SCADA Group) that has been configured to display in SCADAConnect Web. Sites may belong to many groups, so the sites within a group may not be unique.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ See <u>[Configuring SCADA Web](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SCWNC/pages/2056814657)</u> for details of how to configure a group to display on the **Select by System** page.

## Select by Site Type

Choose this option to view a list of site types, then click on a site type to view the included sites. This option displays all sites for each site type, not just those that belong to a "system" group. Click on a type to list all the sites of that type.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ The sites are listed below the type list. Scroll down after selecting a type to see the site list.

# Select by Site Name

This option allows you to search for specific sites using the site name. You can choose to exclude or include site objects without associated tags.

The search options allow you to search for parts of the site name. For example, to find the site "Top River" you could search for sites that State with "Top" or that end with "River".

## Select by Site Attribute Value

This option allows you to search for sites where the value of an attribute has a specific value or range of values.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ The search operators available will vary depending on the type of data stored in the attribute.
