# Approve a Request

When Rubicon staff have completed a support request, you will be invited to *Approve* the request.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ You can also quickly display a list of requests that are awaiting approval by clicking the **Requests** button on the Customer Support Center home screen and choosing **Approvals**. You can then filter that list to show either your approvals history or any requests that are awaiting approval.

To approve a request, open the request details form and click the **Approve** button. Alternatively, you can decline the request by clicking the **Decline** button. In that case please also enter a comment to explain what the issue is.

When the request has been approved, it is closed and the customer will be billed for any chargeable work if applicable.

# Who approves the request?

The person who approves the request depends on who entered the request, and who has authority to approve requests.

- By default, the person who entered the request will also approve the request.
- If the person who entered the request does not have authority to approve requests, the request is sent to all the designated request approvers in that organization and any one of them can approve the request.

# What happens if the request is not approved?

- If the you have any questions or issues to raise regarding the request, you can *Decline* the request and contact Rubicon to discuss any problems. If necessary, the request may be reviewed to see if further work is required.
- If the request is not approved or declined, and Rubicon Support has not heard from you about the request, it will be automatically approved after ten days.
