> ℹ️ **What to do in an Emergency**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ In an emergency you should still lodge a request online but, if the emergency occurs after normal support hours, you should **ALSO** contact customer support by phone (on the after-hours number) to make sure they are notified promptly.

# Lodge the Request

**Step 1**

To start lodging a request, log in to the Rubicon Support Center and choose the type of request that you want to lodge. You’ll be taken to the option screen for that request type.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ See [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RSCUG/pages/2007531668](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RSCUG/pages/2007531668) for details of each request type and their subtypes. You can also change the type and subtype from the drop down options on the request form.

**Step 2**

If appropriate, choose the request sub-type.

**Step 3**

Fill in the form with any details requested. The details requested will depend on the type of request (see [Request Fields](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RSCUG/pages/2007531713/Lodging+a+Request#Request-Fields) for a list of fields you may need to complete). Any field with a red asterisk is a required field. You will not be able to lodge the request until any required fields have been completed.

**Step 4**

When you have completed the form, click **Send** to lodge the request.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ If you have not completed all the required fields you will be prompted to do so before continuing.

The form will be processed, and you will be notified when the request has been successfully lodged.

# What Happens Next?

When the request has been processed you will receive an email notification with the request details. See [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RSCUG/pages/2007531689](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RSCUG/pages/2007531689) for details of what happens next.
