# Creating a Low Volume Order in the Web Ordering Portal

Customers create low volume orders directly in the Web Ordering portal as follows:

**Step 1**

Log in to the web ordering portal.

**Step 2**

From the **Orders** menu, select **Low Volume Order** and select the outlet for which you want to create the order.

**Step 3**

Enter the time until the order starts and the order duration.

The maximum order duration and the outlet settings are fixed and the customer can't change them, but they can view the settings by clicking the **View Details** button for the outlet.

**Step 4**

Click **Lodge** to lodge the order. The order details are now displayed on the Pending Orders page.

## Cancelling a Low Volume Order

Customers can cancel a low volume order from the Pending Orders page until the order has started. They cannot modify the order.

## Troubleshooting

If a customer cannot place a low volume order, check the following:

- Check that there are no other low volume orders for the outlet. Customers can't place a low volume order at an outlet that already has an uncompleted low volume order.
- Confirm that the outlet and property are correctly configured. In particular, check that Low Volume Ordering is enabled for the outlet and that the *Low Volume Order* crop type has been added for the property.
