The Trend Groups module is where you can create and manage groups of regulators and outlets to view in the Planning Schematic flow histogram.

> ℹ️ You can also create trend groups in the Planning Schematic.

> ℹ️ The Trending module in some Rubicon applications also has a concept called "trend groups" for sets of tag values that you can plot together in the Trending tool. These two types of trend group are not related.

# What is a Trend Group?

When you are viewing the orders for an area in the Planning Schematic, you will typically have a set of key regulators and outlets that you load in the flow histogram. A trend group is a pre-defined set of regulators and outlets that you can load in the histogram by selecting the trend group. The flow histogram for each object will open in a separate tab.
