# Using Notes

You can add a note to a network object or a reach so it is visible to anyone using the schematic.

Objects that have attached notes are marked with a notes icon.

# Viewing All Notes

Select **System > Notes** to view all notes attached to network objects. Select a note in the notes list to view the note contents.

# Attaching a Note to a Network Object

To add a note to a network object:

1. In the Network Schematic, right-click on the object and choose **Notes** from the shortcut menu to open the Notes window.
2. Click  **Add** to create a new note.
3. Enter the text of the note.
4. Click **Save** to save your changes.

# Reading object notes

Read notes by right-clicking on the object and opening the Notes tool. Only notes that apply to this object will be listed. Select a note to read the contents.
