You can also include an attachment with these messages that customers can download from the web portal. Customers can register to receive messages as announcements by choosing the **Web** delivery type in the web portal. # Publish an Announcement to the Web Portal: 1. In the Customer Comms module create a new message using a comm type. See [Sending a Message](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MSGNC/pages/2008645698) for details of creating a new message. 2. Choose **Publish to Portal** as the delivery type 3. Set the **Expiry Date** to specify how long the message should be displayed. 4. If you want to add an attachment, click the **Attach** button beside the **Document** field and choose an attachment. You can add one attachment per message. A link to the attachment will be displayed immediately below the message in the web portal Announcements section. 5. Click **Send** to send the message. # Remove an Announcement from the Web Portal Announcements will be removed automatically when the message expires.
