The batteries are installed in the body of the pedestal and connected to the Pedestal PCB.

# Rubicon LiFePO4 - Single Pack

**Step 1**

Lower the battery into the pedestal using the handle.

**Step 2**

- Run the loom from the battery to the Pedestal PCB and connect the battery cable to the JBATTERY connector
- Connect the Temperature Sensor loom (P/N 81961) to the (Negative -) terminal of the battery and run the Temperature Sensor loom from the battery to the Pedestal PCB and connect the Temperature sensor to JTEMP connector

Note that there are two different LTB layouts as shown in these examples:

---

# Rubicon LiFePO4 - Double Pack

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ The Double Battery packs will require the X2M LTB. This will need to be installed on sites requiring this battery pack. The dual connection of the batteries to the PCB ensures that current limits of each connector is not exceeded.

**Step 1**

Lower the bottom battery into the pedestal using the handle.

**Step 2**

Pull the bottom battery loom clear of the path of the top battery

**Step 3**

Lower the top battery into the pedestal using the handle

**Step 4**

Connect the bottom battery loom with the top battery loom on the Anderson power SB-50 (red) connector

**Step 5**

- Terminate the looms into the PCB on the J Battery connector and the J Meter connector.
- Connect the Temperature Sensor loom (P/N 81961) to the (Negative -) terminal of the battery and run the Temperature Sensor loom from the battery to the Pedestal PCB and connect the Temperature sensor to JTEMP connector

> ⚠️ The following LiFePO4 batteries are intended exclusively for the Indian market.

> 📝 Review the product **Sales Drawings** to choose the right loom, and LTB board for the installation of IND Rubicon LiFePO4 batteries, Links to product sales drawings are available on the product space home pages.

> 📝 Inspect the battery looms thoroughly before installing the battery to ensure they are free from any damage or corrosion.

# IND Rubicon LiFePO4 - Single Pack (Standard Loom)

**Step 1**

Lower the battery into the pedestal using the handle.

**Step 2**

- Connect the IND Standard Battery loom (P/N: 83751) to the Anderson connector hanging out of the battery pack
- Run the loom from the battery to the Pedestal PCB and connect the battery cable to the JBATTERY connector
- Run the Temperature Sensor loom from the battery to the Pedestal PCB and connect the Temperature sensor to JTEMP connector

Note that there are two different LTB layouts as shown in these examples:

# IND Rubicon LiFePO4 - Single Pack (High-Powered Loom)

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ The sites requiring the High-Powered loom will require the X2M LTB. The dual connection of the battery to the PCB ensures that current limits of each connector is not exceeded.

**Step 1**

Lower the bottom battery into the pedestal using the handle.

**Step 2**

- Connect the High-Powered IND battery loom (P/N: 83775) to the Anderson connector hanging out of the battery pack.

**Step 3**

- Run the loom from the battery to the Pedestal PCB and connect the battery cable to the JBATTERY, and JMETER connector
- Run the Temperature Sensor loom from the battery to the Pedestal PCB and connect the Temperature sensor to JTEMP connector
