The Losses module is where you can manage the current and historical values of losses set on network pipes and reaches.

> ℹ️ If you log in as a planner you can view only the losses in your own area. The Losses module is also available in the Planning Schematic.

# What is a Loss?

A loss is a known rate of water loss along a pipe or reach. Add loss values to reaches to ensure that they are accounted for in capacity planning, and when calculating flow histograms.
