The Sales module is where you can search for and view debit account items that have been included on a customer invoice.

# What is a Sale?

A Sale is a debit account item that has been included in an invoice and issued. Sales are created automatically from chargeable account items during the invoicing process, or you can create Sale items manually in the Accounts module.

# Searching for Sales

You can search for sales by:

- Account number
- Property
- Invoice contact
- Charge Type
- Date range

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ You can also search for sales that have not been invoiced. This search will not return any results unless you have legacy data for sales that were associated with deleted invoices. The invoice deletion process now also deletes associated invoice items, so all remaining sales will be included in an invoice.
