You can import target point data from a comma separated values (csv) file. The point **Times** (or **Probabilities** for an inflow probability target type) must be in one column, and the point **Values** in another.

> ℹ️ **Caution**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ Importing data points into an existing target curve will replace ALL the existing data points. The only points in the target curve will be those you have imported.

**Step 1**

Select the new target curve and open the **Points** tab.

**Step 2**

Click **Import** to import points from a file and enter the following details:

| **Property** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| File | Specify the csv file that contains the data points. |
| Time/Probability | Choose the data column that contains the time or probability data. |
| Value | Choose the data column that contains the point values. |

**Step 3**

Click **Import** to run the import process. The data points are displayed in a **Preview** window.

**Step 4**

Use the tools in the Preview window to **Add**, **Remove** or **Modify** any data values if necessary.

**Step 5**

When you are satisfied with the data points, click **Save** to save your changes and add the points to the target curve.
