You can add rows and columns to the SYSTEM table. Each column has a specific data type that is shared by all the tags in the column so, if you need a new data type in the table you must add a new column.

1. In the Data Sources module, navigate to the table where you want to add a row or column,
2. Click **Edit** to display the table properties and enable editing.
3. Set the **Number of rows** and the **Number of columns**. You can also set the [data type](https://support.rubiconwater.com/help/scforms/content/topics/modules/datasources/con_about_tags.htm#TagDataType) of any of the columns.
4. Click **Save** to save your changes.
