The Systems Module is where you can view some details of network collection systems.

See the [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DCNC/pages/2010185759](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DCNC/pages/2010185759) to see communications settings for a collection system.

See the [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DCNC/pages/2010185772](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DCNC/pages/2010185772) for details of the data sources included in each collection system.

## What is a Collection System?

A collection system is a collection of sites that share a communications system, typically via a Gateway, to the host system.

The Systems Module displays the following details of systems:

| Property | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Name | System name as recorded in the system configuration file |
| Description | System description as displayed in the user interface |
| Entry method | Indicates whether data collection in the system is *Automatic* (using SCADAConnect for example), or *Manual* |
| Status | For automatic systems, indicates whether the system is Running or Stopped |

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ Although you can change these settings, the changes do not affect system operation.
