The Collection Services module is where you can view details of communication services used by the application.

For a standard Rubicon system, there is a collection of [MDLC services](https://support.rubiconwater.com/help/scforms/content/topics/modules/collectionservices/ref_mdlc_services.htm) that handle the interface between the host database and the Motorola gateways and Motorola SCADA (MOSCAD) devices. These are not usually changed after initial configuration.

# What is a Collection System?

A collection system is a collection of sites that share a communications system, typically via a Gateway, to the host system.
