These parameters are used to configure an SMS server for SMS messaging:

| **Property** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| SMS country code | Optional country code prefix for SMS messages |
| SMS provider | SMS service provider |
| SMS username | SMS user account name with service provider |
| SMS password | SMS user account password |
| SMS from user | Sender details for SMS messages |
| Check SMS account balance | Specifies whether the sender's account balance should be checked when a message is sent by SMS.<br>If this is set to *Yes*, you are warned if your account balance is low when you try to send a message and you have the option to cancel the message. |
| Customer comms text limit for SMS | Allows you to increase the maximum number of characters allowed in an SMS message. The default is 160 characters. |
| HTTP proxy server | Proxy server for outgoing HTTP access used primarily by Customer Communication to send SMS (if not defined, no proxy server will be used) |
| HTTP proxy port | Proxy server port |
| HTTP proxy username | Proxy server account username (set if proxy requires authentication) |
| HTTP proxy password | Proxy server account password (set if proxy requires authentication) |
