Use the **Invoice Period** options on the charge settings to manage how and when charges are applied in a billing schedule.

**To apply a charge in a single invoicing period:**

- Choose the specific invoicing period in the Invoice Period options. The available options are *First*, *Last*, or choose *Other* and specify the exact period.

**To apply a charge in all invoicing periods:**

- Choose *All* in the Invoice Period options. The full cost will be applied in all periods.

**To spread a charge proportionally across all invoicing periods:**

- Choose *Schedule* in the Invoice Period options. A proportional share of the cost will be allocated across all the invoicing periods.
